BILLINGS, Mont. – Montana State University Billings Head volleyball coach
Casey Williams has announced Glendive, Montana native Bailey Pearcy has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Yellowjackets for the 2019 season. Pearcy adds depth to the setter position and becomes the seventh signing of the off-season for the Montana State Billings volleyball program.
Pearcy was a three sport athlete at Dawson County High School, playing volleyball, basketball, and softball. She was named academic all-state for volleyball two times and was on the honor roll all four years of high school. On the court, Pearcy was an excellent server as she recorded a team high 62 aces as a junior and 74 aces as a senior. She also chipped in 537 assists as a junior and 1,018 assists her senior season for the Red Devils. She helped her team to a 10-3 record under head coach Tiffaney Egan.
Pearcy and Hannah Hashbarger (West Linn, Oregon) were both recruited to play the setter position for MSUB. She is also the second recruit this year signed from Montana. Pearcy intends to major in business.

Coach Williams on Pearcy: "Bailey is a quick athlete that will add depth to our setting position. She has a lot of qualities that we look for in a setter and we are excited to add her to the team."
Pearcy on choosing MSUB: "I always knew I wanted to go to MSUB. Playing volleyball there was my dream. I chose MSUB because of the location and what the city has to offer. The size of campus is just right and it has my planned major, business administration. I love the energy and drive Coach Williams has for her team, and I cannot wait to play for her."
MSUB's volleyball improved its record for the third straight year and finished 13-17 overall, 7-13 GNAC in 2018.
