MSUB Hall of Fame
A multi-time All-Region selection, Steen Fredrickson pitched from 2016-2019 for MSUB, helping the Yellowjackets earn three GNAC Regular Season Championships in four seasons, along with the program's first GNAC Tournament Championship in 2019. The right-hander finished his career as a staple at the top of MSUB's pitching records, including the second most wins in program history with 19. Fredrickson also holds the ninth lowest ERA in program history at 5.34, the third lowest batting average against with .249, and the third highest strikeout total with 209. Fredrickson, whose 212.1 career innings rank fourth most, and 31 starts tie for the fifth most in team history, was an NCBWA Honorable Mention in his junior and senior seasons, while picking up ABCA All-Region Second Team honors as well in 2019. He became the first Yellowjacket to win GNAC Pitcher of the Year in 2018, and was selected to the ALL-GNAC First Team two times, while tying for the program record for GNAC Pitcher of the Week awards with four, and becoming a three-time Academic All-GNAC honoree.
