Arguably the most decorated student-athlete in the history of MSUB athletics, Alisha Breen finished her Yellowjacket career with her name plastered across the women's basketball record books. Breen finished her career with 2,001 total points scored, a program record that stands to this day. She also finished as the all-time leader in free throws made, while playing in more games than any other women's basketball player with 130. Breen also holds top marks for points and free throws made in a season, while ranking in the top ten of almost every all-time statistical category following a playing career that spanned from 2013-2018. In her career, Breen helped to guide the Yellowjacket to the program's first ever GNAC Regular Season Championship in 2013-14, and GNAC Tournament Championship in 2017-2018, and was a member of three NCAA Regional teams, including one run to the Sweet Sixteen in 2013-14, and an NCAA West Regional victory and Elite Eight berth in 2017-18. Breen finished her career with both D2CCA and WBCA All-American First Team awards from the 2017-18 season. She remains the only player in program history to earn D2CCA West Region Player of the Year and GNAC Championships MVP honors, while being the second player in program history to earn GNAC Player of the Year. Breen was a two-time All-GNAC First Teamer, awarded All-GNAC Honorable Mention one time, and was a three-time Academic All-GNAC selection.
