Cross Country Has Eight on All-Conference Academic List

PORTLAND, Ore. – The Montana State University Billings Men's and Women's Cross Country teams placed eight student-athletes on the Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC) All-Conference Academic Team for the 2013 season.

This year's list was highlighted by a perfect 4.0 from women's athlete Jinise Osborne.  Osborne is a sophomore who is studying in the Health and Human Performance Department.  Following closely behind her was Renae Hepfner with a 3.95 in Biology.  Osborne and Hepfner have lead the Yellowjackets on the cross country course this season as well, as both women have had first and second finishes for the MSU Billings team in every meet this year.

"I am really proud of all our team's successes," Head Coach Dave Coppock said.  "We're focusing on academic success as well as athletic success and Jinise as well as Renae Hepfner and everyone named to the team this year are doing well all-around."
