2012 (Sophomore): Ran a personal best 20:44 at the MSUB Yellowjacket Invitational ... Ran a 25:59 at the NCAA Div. II West Regional Championships in a 6K race ... Ran a 24:07 in the 6K GNAC Championships ... Earned Academic All-GNAC.
2011 (Freshman): As a true freshman, Brown missed the first two races of the season in Alaska, but came on strong for the Yellowjackets in the final six meets of the year ... She finished fourth on the squad in just her second collegiate race, the 2012 Runners Soul Erik Anderson Cross Country Invitational, where she finished with a time of 25:21.2 ... She posted a 6K season-best time of 25:46.0 in the 2012 NCAA Division II West Regional Cross Country Championships and recorded a 5K-best of 21:13.0 earlier in the season.
Colstrip High School: Brown was a four-time letter winner in cross country and earned three letters in track and field ... She was a contributing member of the 2009 State Cross Country Champions while her 2010 squad placed second in the state and her 2008 team finished second ... She was named the cross country team's Most Improved Team Member for the 2007-08 season and was the 2008 Most Valuable Distance Runner for the track and field squad while earning the 2009 and 2011 Coach Davenport Guts and Determination Award in cross country ... Brown was also strong in the classroom as she earned Academic All-State honors seven times, four times for cross country and three in track and was the 2011 Colstrip Scholar Athlete of the Year ... She was also elected the president of the National Honor Society.
