BISMARCK, N.D. – The Montana State University Billings women's tennis team competed in three matches over the weekend, going 2-1 with wins on Saturday over the University of Mary as well as Southwest Minnesota State University. The Yellowjackets also posted a loss to Augustana College on Sunday.
 
The Yellowjackets started the weekend's trio of matches with a 5-4 victory over Mary Saturday morning and then continued to ride their momentum by claiming a 7-2 match over Southwest Minnesota. Sunday morning, Augustana left Bismarck with a 9-0 win over MSUB.
 
Laura Housinger, Kendyall Rochin, Amanda Milliard and Libby Rutz all recorded a pair of wins in singles competition over the Marauders and Mustangs on Saturday.
 
In doubles action, Housinger and Paffhausen swept their competition on Saturday with wins of 8-3 and 9-7.
 
The Yellowjacket women will be back in action this weekend with a pair of matches on Friday, Feb. 24 and Sunday, Feb. 26. On Friday, MSUB will travel to Bozeman where they will take on Portland State University before turning their attention to the Bobcats of Montana State University on Sunday.
