NAMPA, Idaho – The Montana State University Billings track and field teams wrapped up the Ninth-Annual Great Northwest Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships Saturday afternoon with both squads finishing seventh of the eight schools in attendance, but both squads made significant improvements over previous years.
“It's great to know that we keep getting better as we scored more points this year on both squads than we ever have in recent years,” said head coach
Dave Coppock. “We keep getting better, but so does the rest of the conference. We were able to be in the mix in just about every event this weekend and we are certainly better than we have been. This really strong conference certainly makes us better and hopefully one of these years will be our year.”
