Former MSUB Standout Kari Foreman Joins Women’s Soccer Staff

Kari Foreman was introduced as the new MSUB women's soccer assistant coach Friday morning.
BILLINGS, Mont. -- Wojtek Krakowiak, Montana State Billing's women's soccer head coach, announced Thursday that former MSUB standout Kari Foreman has been named the new women's soccer assistant coach beginning with the 2011 season.

“I am very that Kari has accepted the position and will be joining the coaching staff,” said Krakowiak. She played a very important role in the Yellowjackets' success throughout her playing career at MSUB and her dedication, hard work and familiarity with the program are qualities that are crucial to this position. I am certain she will be a great addition to our program and will help us achieve our future goals.”

Foreman completed a phenomenal four-year career at MSUB in 2010, which saw her help the Yellowjackets to the program's first-ever appearance, and victory, in the NCAA Division II tournament.

During her career she recorded 56 total points, ranking her fifth on the all-time career scoring list. Foreman also finished fifth on the career goals list with 23 and is third all-time on the career assists list with 10. She capped 78 matches during her career, which is second all-time, and had 74 starts.

Foreman was a two-time second team Daktronics All-West Region honoree during her career and last season was named to both the NSCAA/Adidas Scholar All-Region and All-Region teams. She was also a three-time GNAC All-Conference selection with a first team selection in 2010, and was a three-time GNAC Academic All-Conference selection.

She graduated from MSUB with a Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, and has been involved in the Magic City Youth Soccer program this past year as an assistant coach.
