LYNDEN, WA – The MSU Billings men's golf team shot an 18-over 306 Saturday at the Western Washington University "Border Battle" golf tournament held at the Homestead Golf Course.  The Yellowjackets are in third place behind Western Washington (291) and Saint Martin's (304).

Chris Haas and Kevin Davis each shot 3-over 75s to lead the Yellowjackets.  Chris McConnell carded a 76, followed by Eric Staab's 80 and Matt Desin's 99. 

Western Washington's Tim Feenstra leads the field with an opening round 68.  He has a five-stroke lead entering Sunday's final round, which begins at 7:30 a.m.  Haas and Davis are tied for fifth, eight strokes off the lead.
