BILLINGS, Mont. – The 31
st annual Montana State University Billings Athletics Hall of Fame & Distinction induction ceremony featured the introduction of Kelly Parsons, Bruce Parker, and Bobbi Knudsen on Friday night at the Hilton Garden Inn.
Parsons played softball at MSUB from 2008-11, Knudsen was on the women's basketball team from 2010-14, and Parker was recognized in the category for years of service and distinction and is among the EMC graduating class of 1979.
Parsons was introduced on Friday by Bobbi Lee. Lee took the stage and reflected on Parsons' distinguished career as an MSUB softball player, including a humorous camping trip with the team and how Parsons came through in high pressure game situations. Parsons is the fourth softball player to be inducted in the Hall of Fame.
Fellow MSUB Hall of Famer Kas Ioane introduced Montana college sports legendary administrator Bruce Parker. Ioane humorously reminded the room of Parker's accomplishments at several schools, including Carroll College and Rocky Mountain College. He then emphasized Parker's admirable and selfless character in his work over the past 40 years. It all began at Montana State University Billings, where Parker played tennis and earned his degree in business management and marketing. Retired from his most recent job, athletics director at Rocky Mountain College, Parker announced his intentions to serve his alma mater in an advisory role in the coming years.

Kevin Woodin introduced his former player Knudsen, recounting her unique athletic skill and competitive spirit as a basketball player and person before and during her time with the 'Jackets. Woodin shared stories of Knudsen's commitment to join the team and later her commitment to the team. Knudsen went on to become the conference leading scorer and helped MSUB advance to the region tournament. Woodin shared comments from Knudsen's former teammates of her distinguished career, which was both inspiring and uplifting. Knudsen spoke about her greatest honor, which is being able to inspire the next generation of student-athletes in pursuing their dreams.
The MSUB Hall of Fame began in 1990. There have been 166 total members inducted. Photos and video of the event will be available on msubsports.com in the near future.
