BILLINGS, Mont. – Montana State University Billings men's soccer is in Bismarck this week to take on No. 13 Eastern New Mexico University Saturday, September 21 at 11 a.m. central time and University of Mary Monday, September 23 at 3 p.m. Both contests are non-conference and will be played at the MDU resources community bowl. Fans can follow the Yellowjackets on the road through

MSU Billings (1-2-1) is coming off a 4-0 victory against South Dakota School of Mines and Technology in the sixth annual Rimrock Classic at Yellowjacket Field in which
Andres Perez scored two goals and
Jessy Martin earned a shutout at goalkeeper. Both Peres and Martin were named Great Northwest Athletic Conference players of the week for their contributions to the win on Sunday.
The Yellowjackets are looking to keep positive momentum with three additional non-conference matches before heading to Northwest Nazarene University on October 3 to begin GNAC play. Last season, MSUB finished 7-12-2 and 4-7-1 in the GNAC. They are under the guidance of first year head coach
Thomas Chameraud.

Yaniss Aka, and
Shantik Bedrosian have tallied single markers through the first four games. Crespo also has a pair of assists for a total of four points.

The No. 13 Eastern New Mexico men's soccer team recorded its third shutout of the season after putting away University of Mary 1-0 on Thursday afternoon. The Hounds have won five games in a row and their defense allowed zero shots on goal against the Marauders. ENMU finished .500 in the Heartland Conference last fall and is under the direction of newly appointed head coach Jon Fridal.
This year's squad feature 18 returners, including D2CCA All-South Central Region honoree Gabriel Peres. Brazilian Lucas Vaz joins Peres at midfield. Vaz tied for second on the team with six goal and a pair of assists in 2018. Of the 31 players on this year's Greyhound team, 23 players hail from hometowns outside the United States.

The Marauders were in Billings for the Rimrock Classic last weekend, but have yet to face off against the Yellowjackets in 2019. In their last game, UMary put up a fight against No. 13 Eastern New Mexico but fell 1-0 in Bismarck.
University of Mary has an even mix of returners and newcomers this fall. Offense has been in short supply so far but Blake Palmquist leads the team with one goal and one assist for three points. Tresor Mugwaneza and Joseph Frediani also have single goals.
On September 15, 2018, the Yellowjackets bested the Marauders 1-0 in Bismarck.
Shantik Bedrosian had one shot on goal and MSUB outshot UMary 14-10 with five landing on goal.
