The Wolves Kevin Smith hit a triple to left center, bringing Nylen and Miller home to increase Western's lead to four, as the Yellowjackets faced their final batting attempts.
Western Oregon's four run lead would be too much for MSU Billings to overcome, as they couldn't generate any hits and left one on base in the bottom of the ninth. The Wolves escaped with the 22-18 victory.
Game 2: MSUB 9 – WOU 6

Orrin Pyrah forced a fielder's choice that would bring home Sternhagen to give the Jackets the 9-5 lead entering the six inning.
