Baseball: Seniors Take Center Stage at Dehler

Billings, Mont. – Ten Yellowjacket student-athletes will take to Dehler Park for the final time in their career, as Saturday's double-header will mark MSU Billings baseball team 2013 “Senior Day.” After recently clinching a berth in the inaugural GNAC Championship Tournament, the Jackets look to send their seniors out on a high note.  
 
The 2013 senior cast consists of: No. 1 Austin Rue,  No. 2 Samuel Paterson, No. 3 Mack Unruh, No. 9 Colby Robison, No. 11 Bobby Ragasa, No. 13 Travis Vincent, No. 17 Orrin Pyrah, No. 28 Justin Harcharik, No. 31 Kole Mickolio and No. 32 Devon Hedin.
 
No. 1 - Austin Rue became a member of the Yellowjackets in 2011, and played in 121 games, making 112 starts. In his career he has recorded 372 at bats, 87 runs, 101 hits, 21 doubles, five triples, three home runs, 46 RBIs, 141 total bases and 28 stolen bases. Defensively, Rue recorded 134 career putouts and 62 assists.
 
No. 2 - Samuel Paterson joined MSU Billings in 2012, and has made 21 appearances on the mound, with 21 starts. He has a career record of 7-12, and recorded four complete games, one shutout, 87 strikeouts, and only allowed 59 earned runs in 120.1 innings pitched. Paterson has a 4.44 career ERA and .261 career opposing batting average. In 2012 Paterson earned second team All-GNAC honors and the team's Pitcher of the year Award.
 
No. 3 - Mack Unruh became a member of the Yellowjackets program in 2012. Playing primarily in the designated hitter position, he appeared in 71 contest, with 65 starts. In his career, he recorded 202 at bats, 33 runs, 55 hits, nine doubles, four triples, four home runs, 36 RBIs, 84 total bases and one stolen bases. Defensively Unruh tallied six putouts and four assists.
 
No. 9 - Colby Robison joined MSUB in 2011 and has appeared in 132 games, with all of his appearances being starts. In his career he has 494 at bats, 89 runs, 162 hits, 33 doubles, eight triples, 11 home runs, 102 RBIs, 244 total bases and 33 stolen bases. Defensively, Robison has recorded 189 putouts and 347 assists. In 2011 he received Daktronics All-West Region second team honors, National Collegiate Baseball Writer's Association All-West Region second team honors, first team All-GNAC honors, and named GNAC Newcomer of the Year. In 2012, he earned second team All-GNAC honors and the team's Yellowjacket Award and Most Valuable Defensive Player Award.
 
No. 11 - Bobby Ragasa has been a Yellowjacket since 2012. Primarily in the relief role, he has played in 29 games, with one start, pitching 59.1 innings. Ragasa has a career record of 4-3, and recorded six saves, 59 strikeouts, while only allowing 28 earned runs. His career ERA is 4.474 and career opposing batting average of .274. During 2012 he earned All-GNAC honorable mention honors and the team's Fireman of the Year Award.
 
No. 13 - Travis Vincent became a member of MSUB's program in 2012. Mainly as a relief pitcher he has appeared in 31 games and pitched in 44.3 innings. Vincent has a career record of 3-4, and recorded five saves, 33 strikeouts, while only allowing 12 earned runs. He has a career ERA of 2.44 and a .240 career opposing batting average.
 
No. 17 - Orrin Pyrah joined the Jackets program in 2012. In two years he has played in 55 games, starting 47. In 136 at bats, he has recorded 20 runs, 29 hits, five doubles, one triple, 14 RBIs and 36 total bases. Defensively, Pyrah has recorded 240 putouts and 20 assists.
 
No. 28 - Justin Harcharik became a member of MSUB in 2012. In his career, he has appeared in 66 contests, starting 48. Harcharik recorded 159 at bats, 26 runs, 44 hits, seven doubles, one triple, one home run, 15 RBIs, 56 total bases, four stolen bases. In the field Harcharik has recorded 118 putouts and three assists.
 
No. 31 - Kole Mickolio joined the Yellowjacket program in 2013. In his first season with MSUB he has eight appearances, pitched in 9.0 innings, struck out five batters while only giving up 13 earned runs. Mickolio has a 1-0 record in 2013.
 
No. 32 - Devon Hedin has been a member of the program since 2010. In four years with the program he has played in 21 games with 11 starts. In 35 at bats, he has recorded eight runs, four hits and three RBIs. Defensively, he has 74 career putouts and one assist.
 
Senior Day starts 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 27 at Dehler Park. The 10 ten seniors will be honored after the conclusion of the first game in the double-header.
