"Another very disappointing performance to finish this already very disappointing season," said Head Coach Alex Balog". "We lacked the mental toughness and the fighting spirit to overcome the hurdles we found on the field today. This league is a tough league and we as a team need to understand that we need to ready from the start of every game. That didn't happen today."

NNU outshot MSUB 25-14 and held the advantage in corner kick opportunities 9-5. Jess lead the Jackets with four shot followed by Sam Butterworth attempting three and Cameron Lee had two. Hurley had six saves on the game.

"Although this performance and the result that goes with it are very disappointing, our 2014 season starts on Monday," Balog said. "We have to get better at everything, the coaches and the players together. We're going to work very hard this spring to work on our weaknesses so we'll never have a repeat of this 2013 season again."
