BILLINGS, Mont. –The Montana State University Billings Men's Soccer team will close out their season with the final game against Northwest Nazarene University, Saturday in Nampa, Ida.
The Jackets are 3-9-5 overall and 3-5-5 in Great Northwest Athletic Conference play while the Crusaders are 4-7-5, 4-6-3 in GNAC play.
The Jackets last played South Dakota School of Mines and the University of Mary in their annual trip to the Conference's eastern most schools.
The Jackets played SDSM to a draw 1-1. The draw is the first ever in SDSMT history, the program is currently in its second year.
The Jackets also played Mary to a draw, 0-0. Mary had a chance to score in 31st minute when MSUB goalie, Hurley picked up a yellow card prompting an indirect free kick inside the box for Aaron McElwee. McElwee's shot was saved by Hurley who picked up his fifth shutout of the year and had six saves during the match.

Thorge Jess lead the Jackets with four shots, two being on goal.

Aodhan Brownlee each had one shot on the day. Mary lead 18-14 in shot attempts, MSUB held the corner kick advantage 7-4.
"The trip to the Dakota's is never an easy one and we needed to bounce back from the loss against SFU," Head Coach
Alex Balog said. "The guys played with a lot of heart and desire. Yes, maybe we could've and should've won, but the resilience this team has shown all year after numerous set-backs, one-goal losses and overtime games is phenomenal."
The Crusaders are also coming off the trip east play to Mary and SDSM. The Crusaders fell to Mary 2-1 in overtime and defeated SDSM 2-0.
NNU is fourth in the conference in points (58), goals (20) and assists, (18). They are paced by player of the year candidate, Fredy Razo who has 69 shot attempts on the year, a conference leading 26 points and a conference leading 12 goals on the year so far.
Crusader goalie Ryan Foo is second in the conference for saves with 73 on the year and is forth in save percentage with a .753.

Haley Klarich are tied for the team led in goals with four each which is also tied for tenth in the conference. Jacket goalie
Eoin Hurley is in third place in the conference for saves with 70 on the year and is in fifth place for save percentage with a .722. He is also fourth in the league with 5 shutouts. The Jackets are sixth in the conference in points (49), goals (17) and assists (17).
"We currently are 3-9-5 but that doesn't reflect the effort we as a program have put into this season's games," said Balog. "We want to finish the season on a high and with a win against NNU we could potentially finish 4th, one spot above our pre-season ranking. It'd be a good way to thank our seniors for their efforts for this program."
