Mary had a chance to score in 31st minute when MSUB goalie, Eoin Hurley picked up a yellow card prompting an indirect free kick inside the box for Aaron McElwee. McElwee's shot was saved by Hurley who picked up his fifth shutout of the year and had six saves during the match.

Each team had 10 shots the rest of regulation and both overtimes.

Sam Butterworth and Thorge Jess lead the Jackets with four shots, two being on goal. Chad Ward, Kyle Emerick, Matt Brink and Aodhan Brownlee each had one shot on the day. Mary lead 18-14 in shot attempts, MSUB held the corner kick advantage 7-4.

"Going into the game we knew it'd be tough," Head Coach Alex Balog said. "We were a bit lethargic for the first 25-30 mins but after that we got settled and I think the best chances were ours. Since the beginning of the season finishing has been our weak spot. Unfortunately for us that's vital to win games. On the other hand, I'm very happy with the passion and desire the boys displayed. They played with a lot of heart and kept working till the very end. I'm proud of that."

MSUB will play their final match of the season on Nov. 9th when they take a visit to Nampa, Ida. To play Northwest Nazarene University. The match is slated to begin at 3:00 P.M.
