Billings, Mont. – The Montana State Billings men's and women's soccer programs are preparing for their Great Northwest Athletic Conference schedule. After facing nationally and regionally ranked competition in their out of conference schedules, both programs came out unscathed. MSUB will use this momentum to propel them into conference play.
Women's Soccer
Currently standing at 4-0 on the season, one of key wins for the Yellowjackets came against Colorado School of Mines who were nationally ranked No. 5 at the time. In the Sept. 11 NSCAA/Continental Tire west region poll, MSUB comes in at the sixth spot, one above Seattle Pacific University who earned the No. 7 west region spot.
Over the past few seasons MSUB and the Falcons have battled for conference supremacy, splitting their series last fall with Seattle Pacific defeating MSUB at Yellowjacket Field. The Jackets will start their GNAC play at Yellowjacket field against the Falcons on Thursday, Sept. 13 at 3:30 p.m. After this matchup, MSUB will play another home conference game against Central Washington on Saturday, Sept. 15 at 3:00 p.m.
