Three Men’s Tennis Players Named to All-RMAC Team, ‘Jacket Men Fall in Final

Senior Alonso Leon, junior Navin Marimuthu and sophomore Kavindu Gamage were all named to the RMAC All-Conference team. Leon was a unanimous selection to the first-team, Marimuthu was also a first-team selection and Gamage was a third-team selection.

DENVER, Colo. – Junior Navin Marimuthu claimed Montana State Billings' lone win Saturday morning at No. 1 singles as the men's tennis team fell in their final match of the season 5-1 to Metro State University.

The Yellowjacket men finished the tournament in fourth-place after wrapping up their season 6-10.

MSUB also placed three players on the all-conference team. Senior Alonso Leon (Santiago, Chile/College of the Desert) was one of three unanimous selections to the first team. Marimuthu (Chennai, India/Universal School) was also a first team selection while sophomore Kavindu Gamage (Melbourne, Australia) was a third team selection.

The tandem of Leon and Marimuthu were also named to the all-conference doubles first team.
