Box Score SEATTLE, Wash.- The Montana State University Billings Yellowjacket volleyball team (3-16) faced off against the #22 team in the nation, the Seattle Pacific Falcons (14-3). The Falcons showed why they are top-25 in the nation, taking the match 3-0 (25-18, 25-12, 25-16).

The Yellowjackets got off to a hot start in the first set, getting up 7-4 early in the set. The Falcons came storming back with a 7-0 run behind three service aces by Seattle Pacific's Christina Lopez. SPU was able to gradually extend their lead and take the set 25-18 behind an impressive seven service aces, a .233 hitting percentage, and 12 kills.

The Falcons kept their momentum heading into the second set of the match. The 'Jackets couldn't find their groove on offense, and SPU capitalized on their 8 attacking errors and -.161 hitting percentage. With another impressive six service aces in the set, the Falcons took the set 25-12.

The Falcons came out firing in the third set and got ahead to an early 12-4 lead. The 'Jackets didn't show any quit, as they had a promising 5-3 run behind a pair of kills by senior
Olivia Schwartz. With the Falcons efficient offense not letting up the Yellowjackets were unable to comeback, dropping the set 25-16 in favor of SPU. Â The #22 team in the nation posted a very impressive 17 service aces, and 33 kills proving why they have national recognition.

Olivia Schwartz was awarded as the Intermountain Health Player of the Game. Schwartz put up 3 block assists, and 7 kills with a .158 hitting percentage.
