BILLINGS, Mont. – The 22nd annual Montana State University Billings Athletics Scholarship Dinner Auction narrowly exceeded last year's total as the athletic department announced a total of $62,163 being raised at the event last Friday, marking another successful year.
 
All proceeds from the event are purposed directly towards scholarships for Yellowjacket student-athletes, and it marks the largest single fundraising event for the department each year. This year's dinner auction, which took place at the Red Lion Hotel/Montana Convention Center, was the 22nd annual event.
 
"Our scholarship dinner auction and Halloween party is one of my favorite events each year and is a such fun way to raise dollars for our student-athlete scholarships," commented MSUB athletic Director Krista Montague. "I would like to thank our Director of Development/Marketing, Hollie West, for her leadership in managing the overall event. A special thanks goes to our coaches, staff, and student-athletes who worked hard to secure quality auction items as well."

There simply is not enough we can do in order to say thank you to those who believe in our MSUB student-athletes and make a direct impact by investing in their future. Our student-athletes represent an incredibly talented, diverse, intelligent group of young men and women.  The generosity of those who give to scholarships allows our student-athletes to thrive during their time on campus, and provides them with a foundation to be successful in their careers beyond college.  We are grateful for the entire Yellowjacket Family who steps up for this event."
