MSUB softball competing in early-week series at Western Oregon

BILLINGS, Mont. – With all the wet and rainy conditions on the west coast this spring, the Great Northwest Athletic Conference softball teams are scrambling to play make-up games in the next few weeks before the conference tournament at the end of the month.

Montana State University Billings (10-28, 2-14) is on its way to Western Oregon for a four-game series on Monday and Tuesday, Apr. 11-12. The Yellowjackets will look to shake out of a six-game slump as they complete a five day, eight-game conference road trip.

MSU Billings played a tough series at Central Washington on Friday and Saturday, dropping the four-game series to the Wildcats. The 'Jackets struggled at the plate on Friday, leaving eight runners stranded on the bases without plating a run.
