BILLINGS, Mont. – The Montana State University Billings Softball team's games against the University of Great Falls has been moved up a day to Friday, Apr. 25.
MSU Billings (18-20) is on a three-game winning streak after a sweep at Great Northwest Athletic Conference Simon Fraser University last week.
MSUB is hitting .308 as a team.
At the plate,
Aubrey Conceicao is leading the Yellowjackets hitting .411. She is also leading the team in on base percentage (.437), hits (53), triples, and tied for 1
st for total bases (69). On the pitcher's mound
Amanda Todd (5-7) has a team low 3.96 combined ERA with 69 strikeouts on the season.
The Great Falls Argos are 14-13 on the season and 2-4 in the Frontier Conference. Like MSU Billings, UAF has had some cancelled games this season due to weather. The Argos last game was on April 12 against the University of Jamestown when they were defeated in both games by scores of 3-5 and 4-5.

Lisa Allen said. "We are playing Great Falls, who is a good in-state rival for us. They have come to our Fall Tournament each year, and we are fortunate to get to play them in the spring as well. They are a good hitting team with solid defense and decent pitching. Our team will go there looking to get 2 more wins for a .500 (20-20) season and end on a five game winning streak."
Friday's double-header schedule will begin at 3 pm.
