Overall, MSUB is 20-8 against Saint Martin's.  The Yellowjackets are 10-2 at home and have won the last five contests against the Saints, including taking the last game at home 75-41.

"I expect Western Oregon to be much improved from last season," Coach Woodin said.  "They have had a couple of great wins in league play so far and have been very close on numerous occasions.  With a new coach, I am sure their system has changed, but I do know they have some very talented players."

"Last week was a great week for us as we posted two road wins and I thought the key to our wins was primarily our defense," Coach Woodin said.  "I am hopeful we can keep that up while also playing much better on the offensive end.  We need to shoot free-throws at a higher percentage and we need to turn the ball over at a lesser rate.  Our focus needs to be on possession."

Montana State University Billings will host Saint Martin's University on Thursday, Jan. 23.  Tip-off is scheduled for 7 PM.  The game will feature both a student Dash for Cash as well as a student Vivint $500 Challenge.

Prior to Saturday's game, Dr. Jim Elliot, Heidi Lehman, Megan Plank, and Pryor Orser will join the 144 members in the Montana State University Billings Hall of Fame Honor and Distinction in a ceremony on Friday night at the Hilton Garden Inn.  The event features a social and dinner buffet, after which the honorees will receive their awards.  The event is scheduled to begin at 5:30 PM and is open to the public.  Tickets are $30.00 per person and can be purchased by calling Denise Wynia in Yellowjacket Athletics at 406-657-2369.
