Prior to MSUB: In 2012-13 for the Bobcats, Banis played in eight games and recorded 16 points (2.0 avg.), six rebounds, three blocks and two steals … During her sophomore campaign she played in 28 games, including 21 starts, and finished the season averaging 8.4 points and 4.5 rebounds in 23.4 minutes of action … Banis scored in double-figures in ten separate contests, including a season-best 19 points at Portland State University (12/31/11).
 
Her freshman season was cut short due to an MCL injury, and she only played in 16 of the Bobcats' 31 games … Banis notched a season and career best, 28 points at Utah Valley (1/1/2011), and finished the season averaging 12.1 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game … She redshirted during the 2009-10.
 
Banis who is a two-time All-Big Sky Conference Academic All-Conference recipient, graduated from Montana State in May 2013 with a Bachelor's Degree in Community Health; she will continue her education and begin the pursuit of her Master's Degree in Health Administration at MSUB this fall.

Personal: Daughter to Leroy and Sue Banis … She is majoring in Health Administration … Her high school coach was Dustin Gordon.
