The game was the home opener for the Hardrockers and subsequently was their first win of the season as well.
"I thought we played pretty hard but once again their inside presence hurt us both in the paint and on the glass," Head Coach
Jamie Stevens said. Eleven offensive rebounds is unacceptable and 30 points in the paint is far too much. We had a lead late but couldn't make enough plays down the stretch, we had to make shots and we had great, great looks all night. Now we have a chance to get better with a day of practice and another big road game on Saturday."
MSUB next plays Black Hills State University on Saturday, Nov. 16th at 7:30 P.M. It is Back Hills State's home opener as well.
