Very Little Down Time, ‘Jackets Preparing for Long Week

Freshman Ty Gilmore currently leads the team with a .370 batting average which has him fourth in the GNAC.
BILLINGS, Mont. – There will not be much time to recover and prepare for the next contest, but the Montana State University Billings baseball team will do their best to bounce back from their weekend trek through Oregon as they turn their focus to out-of-conference foe Dickinson State University before jumping back into their league schedule on Saturday against Saint Martin's University.

This past weekend, the Yellowjackets (11-15) struggled to find some offense against nationally-ranked Western Oregon University, but the Wolves proved to be too much for the 'Jackets as they outscored MSUB 12-4, 5-1, 12-0 and 5-0 over the four-game series.

MSUB will chock the weekend up to a learning experience and move on, refocusing their attention as quickly as possible as they will face-off against Dickinson State University tomorrow in a 1 p.m. doubleheader.

They will then welcome Saint Martin's University to Billings Saturday, April 14 and Sunday, April 15 for a Great Northwest Athletic Conference four-game series. Both GNAC twin bills will start at 1 p.m.
