DAY ONE RESULTS
BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The Montana State University Billings' women's golf team is in 10th place after the first day of the Western Washington University Invitational.
The Yellowjackets had a round one total of 343.
Cayley Fish leads MSUB after the first day in 14th place. The sophomore shot seven-over-par, 79, in the first round. Fish made three birdies Monday, and was three-under on par-five holes.

Melissa Saken made one of the three eagles that were scored in the first round. She shot a 45 on both the front nine and back nine.
Katie Fish is tied with Saken in 51st after day one.
Mariah Cleveland is in 37th with an 84.
BreAnna Cameron is in 60th. There are 68 golfers in the tournament.
British Columbia finished with a first day best score of 307, two strokes ahead of Hawaii-Hilo, and three strokes better than Grand Canyon and Tarleton State. Four of UBC's golfers are in the top 15, while Hawaii-Hilo's top three are in second, eighth, and 11th. MSUB sits ahead of Saint Martin's, Simon Fraser, and Northwest Nazarene.
Grand Canyon's Kelcey Tate shot 37 on the front nine, and then 35 after the turn. She led after round one with a 72. Hawaii-Hilo's Kacie Harada is only a stroke behind with a 73. She rebounded after a front nine 39, with a 34 on the back nine. Five golfers are tied for third at three-over-par.
The second round begins Tuesday at 9 a.m. Pacific Time, at the Bellingham Golf and Country Club. Host Western Washington sits in eighth place as a team, and will have plenty of work to do to win its fourth straight title at its own tournament. In all, WWU has won or tied 12 of the 19 Western Washington Invitational tournaments all-time.
