“I am very excited and proud of our men and women,” MSUB head coach Shawn O'Brien said.  Both teams played exceptional the past two days.  Everyone wearing our school logo stayed mentally strong and focused allowing themselves to score well.  Our putting was great, as well as our scrambling up and down on the greens.  Both teams worked hard this last week preparing for this tournament and their effort paid off today with both teams finishing first.”

“I'm excited for Brad (Harrelson),” O'Brien said.  As a true freshman, it is hard to win medalist honors your first year.  He has worked very hard this offseason.”

Stanhope won by a two-stroke margin over Rocky's Rachel Hosterman.  Hosterman shaved nine strokes from Thursday as she fired a women's tournament-low 71 Friday.  Teammate Katy Peterson finished third with a 152 score after rounds of 78 and 74.
