The Eagles came out of the break with a hot hand and built their lead to as many as 14. They managed to keep the Jackets at bay with timely buckets down the stretch. Jordan Lisco hit two 3-pointers in the final five minutes and Ray Mitchell, who scored 12 points, added another trey during that stretch to help CSC keep its lead.

Chadron State was led by a game-high 21 points from Kevin McClelland who also grabbed a team-high seven boards and added four assists and four steals. Hudson finished the game with 15 points, while Jan Burris added 10 for the Eagles.
