Dawn Hedstrom enters into her first year as Assistant Coach for the Montana State Billings volleyball team.
Dawn started her coaching career coaching club volleyball in New Mexico many years ago. She kept moving north coaching club in Colorado and Wyoming. Since moving to Billings 14 years ago, she has been coaching for the Rimrock Club here in Montana.
Dawn enjoyed her collegiate playing time at the University of New Mexico. In the small world of volleyball, Scott worked with her assistant coach, Matt McShane. That connection is what aided in her new position at the collegiate level, assisting head coach Scott Keister.
Dawn works as a neonatal intensive care nurse. She continues to play volleyball and enjoys hiking and backpacking. Dawn is married to Ole and has 2 adult sons, Ben and Bryan that both live in Colorado.
