Indoor Track & Field: Competed in all five indoor track and field meets, including the GNAC Indoor Championships…focused on the weight throw…placed 15th at the GNACs, throwing a distance of 12.30m (40' 2.25")... set a new personal best at the Bobcat Challenge on Jan. 21, throwing 13.08, (42'11")

th in the hammer throw at GNACs…placed third in the javelin and sixth in the hammer throw at the Trudnowski Open on April 21-22…took third in the javelin at the Bauer Open on April 9…threw her collegiate-best hammer throw mark with a 40.99m (134-6) to place eighth at the Yellowjackets/Battlin’ Bears Spring Open on April 2…placed fifth in the javelin and seventh in the hammer throw at the Yellowjackets/Battlin’ Bears Icebreaker Open on March 19…named academic All-GNAC.

Outdoor Track & Field: Competed at eight meets, including the GNAC Outdoor Championships…threw the javelin at seven meets and the hammer throw at all eight meets as a freshman…has the four-furthest javelin throws in MSUB track and field’s modern era…broke the school record in the javelin as a freshman with a throw of 129-2 (39.38) to place eighth at the GNAC Outdoor Championships…had the second-furthest javelin throw amongst freshmen at the GNAC Outdoor Championships…also placed eighth in the hammer throw at the GNAC Outdoor Championships…had four, top-three finishes, including three first-place throws, in the javelin…won the javelin with a throw of 123-7 (37.66) at her first collegiate meet at the MSUB/RMC Open on March 19…won the javelin with a 123-9 (37.72) at the Battlin’ Bears/Yellowjacket Open on April 1…threw a 126-4 (38.51) to win the javelin at the Bauer Open on April 9-10…finished third and set a new collegiate-best in the hammer throw with a 124-6 (37.94) at the Trudnowski Open on April 24.
Indoor Track & Field: Season canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic…placed 17
th in the weight throw with a 39-5.75 (12.03) at the Stinger Open on Feb. 19-20.
Forsyth High School: Four-year letterwinner in track and field, basketball, and volleyball…as a junior placed second in the state for javelin…two-time all-conference selection in basketball as a guard and volleyball as an outside hitter…National Honor Society member.
Cookman on choosing MSUB: “I chose MSUB because I really liked the coaching staff. MSUB also has a great nursing program that I hope to be a part of one day. Lastly, I like the location of MSUB and that it lets me stay close to home.”
