Outdoor Track & Field: Improved on her successful indoor season by throwing the fourth-furthest shot put mark (12.37m/40-7) in MSUB history as a true freshman…competed in seven outdoor track and field meets, including the GNAC Outdoor Championships…placed 10th in both the shot put and the discus, plus threw a lifetime best in the latter with a 35.02m (114-11) toss at GNACs…placed 11th in the shot put at the Bengal Invitational…took second place in the shot put with a throw of 12.11m (39-8.75) at the Trudnowski Open on April 22…threw a lifetime best 12.37m (40-7) in the shot put to place third at the Bauer Open on April 9…set a personal best in the hammer throw with a 29.99m (98-5) at the Yellowjackets/Battlin’ Bears Icebreaker Open on March 19.
Indoor Track & Field: Established herself as the team’s best shot put thrower and threw the sixth-furthest mark (12.08m/39-7.75) in MSUB history as a true freshman…competed in all five indoor track and field meets, including the GNAC Indoor Championships…placed ninth in the shot put with an 11.80m (38-8.75) throw at GNACs…placed sixth in the shot put with an indoor personal-best of 12.08m (39-7.75) to lead all non-Division I competitors at the Mountain State Games on Feb. 11-12…also threw her lifetime best weight throw distance of 10.87m (35-8) at the same meet…placed sixth in the shot put with a throw of 11.61m (38-1.25) at the Dave Little Alumni Mile on Jan. 21-22…took eighth place in the shot put with a throw of 10.98m (36-0.25) at the Bobcat Challenge on Jan. 14.
Cheyenne Central High School: A three-sport varsity athlete in both indoor and outdoor track and field, plus volleyball…capped off her high school career by placing sixth in the shot put at the WHSAA 4A State Track and Field Championships…qualified for the state meet twice…best performance at the indoor state track meet was a 16th-place finish in the shot put...Was a team captain in both track and volleyball…earned her team's Sportsmanship award her freshman year.
