Tyler Moriarty returns to the MSUB coaching staff for his second season as a volunteer assistant in 2014. He majored in health and human performance at MSUB, and since graduating, Tyler has become a personal trainer.
In his playing time as a Yellowjacket, he appeared in 30 games while starting 16 as a junior...finished tied for fourth on the team in goals with three...tallied seven points which was good for sixth on the team...fired 10 shots with four on goal and recorded one game winner...recorded 1,131 minutes...tallied the lone goal in a 1-0 victory at Saint Martin's (Sept. 26)...one of a league-best seven Yellowjackets named to the GNAC academic all-conference team...one of eight ‘Jackets named to the all-conference team as he received honorable mention honors.
As a sophomore...tallied his first goal as a Yellowjacket in a 4-2 win at Seattle Pacific (Nov. 6) in his lone start of the year...tallied four shots with three on goal.
A native of Bozeman, Mont., Moriarty previously attended Whitworth College, after graduating from Bozeman Senior High School.
