Forrest Cross begins his second season as a throws coach for the MSUB track & field program in the 2024-25 season.

Prior to becoming a coach, Cross competed in five seasons of track & field at MSUB, where he was one of the most successful throwers in the program's history. Cross finished his career with a GNAC Championship in the discus during the 2021-22 season, and earned USTFCCCA All-Region honors in the 2022-23 season. Cross finished his career third all time in the indoor shot put, and fifth in the weight throw, while in outdoor he finished fourth in program history in the shot put, second in the discus, and second in the hammer throw.
