2021: Played in nine matches in second season in the program…totaled 203 minutes for an average of 22.6 minutes per game…played a season-high 43 minutes on Sept. 11 against University of Mary…earned academic all-conference accolades.
2020: Fall season canceled due to coronavirus pandemic…played in five matches and made two starts in collegiate debut during 2021 spring season…totaled 162 minutes for an average of 32.4 minutes per game playing in the midfield…played a season-high 38 minutes on April 3 against Minot State.
Sundsta-Alvkullegymnasiet: Comes to MSU Billings from Sweden, where she grew up playing soccer…played for district team in Varmland and was selected to the girls elite camp in Halmstad in 2016, held by the Swedish Soccer Association…was also a member of regional champion youth team from 2013-17…team won the title each year…in 2015 was selected team tournament most valuable player at age 14 in Mastarcupen after helping her team finish fourth.
Coach Cavallo on Moberg: "Emelie is a highly skilled winger. She is very creative on the ball, strong in the 1v1 attacking, and has the ability to play with both feet. She will help our direct play in the final third and we look forward to bringing another international student athlete into our program."
Moberg on choosing MSUB: "I chose MSUB because it felt like a perfect fit to me. Montana is a beautiful state that might be far away from home, but Billings reminds me a lot of my hometown. I believe that joining this program will help me grow both on and off the field, as a player, student and person. I am excited to become a part of the Yellowjacket family and such a dedicated team."
