Biography

NCAA Stats Page

2015:
Honorable mention all-GNAC pick as a true freshman…started the final 15 matches of the season, ranking fifth in the GNAC in goals-against average (1.02)…collected five shutouts, fifth-most in the GNAC…made 55 saves and allowed 16 goals…held a save percentage of .775…played 1,411 minutes and faced 179 shots…had a season-high eight saves at Western Washington on Oct. 10…posted a record of 8-6-1.

Kentlake High School: Three-year letterwinner in soccer under head coach Angy Mathena…served as the team captain her senior season…after being picked as the team’s Most Dependable Player as a junior, won the Falcons’ Leadership Award and earned second-team all-SPSL League honors as a senior.

Coach Krakowiak on Hopps: “Chloe is technically very sound as a goalkeeper. She possesses good hands and quick reflexes. She is loud and it is very impressive to see how much she talks and organizes her back line. Chloe is a very solid shot-stopper and is strong with crosses as well. She also possesses a great ability to distribute the ball from the back. I think Chloe is an intelligent goalkeeper and real leader among her defenders. In the classroom Chloe holds a 3.4 GPA.”

Hopps on choosing MSUB: “I chose MSUB because it offers the major I was looking for and a competitive women’s soccer program with a respectable academic reputation. Additionally, I found MSUB to be the perfect size with a great community feeling. I look forward to my time as a Yellowjacket.”
