Year-By-Year Career Summary |
2021-22: As a sophomore competed in one event and played two rounds at the Beartooth Invitational…academic all-conference selection.
2020-21: Fall season canceled due to coronavirus pandemic…played in two rounds and one event as a freshman…had a season-best score of 101.
Skyview High School: Helped Falcons to third place state finish...team captain as a senior...best single round score was 75.
Coach Allen on King: "Amanda is another high quality student and great addition to our women's team. Amanda has really improved the last few years and that comes directly from the time she has put in. She accomplished a lot of personal bests in her senior season this last fall which has her eager to keep learning and improving in the game. I feel that she is a quality ball striker which is very important on the courses we play in the GNAC, all thanks to her solid fundamentals of the golf swing. Those solid fundamentals will help her continue that improvement trend as she takes the next step to the college game. I look forward to working with Amanda and am excited about what she brings to our program."
King on choosing MSUB: "I chose MSUB because I felt like it is the best fit for me to continue both my academic and golfing career. I have always heard great things about Coach Allen and Coach Drange and knew I wanted to play for them. Also being able to continue to play golf in my home town made the decision easy."
