2011 (Junior): Mickelsen was the Yellowjackets' leading runner in 2011, setting four school records that included breaking her own records twice ... She led the Yellowjacket women in every meet and became the program's first All-Conference runner since MSUB joined the GNAC as she placed 10th in the 2011 GNAC Cross Country Championships ... She followed that performance up by placing on the All-West Region team with an 18th-place finish in the 2011 NCAA Division II West Regional Cross Country Championships ... Finished in the top-five twice, the top-10 four times and the top-20 in all eight meets.
2010 (Sophomore): Ran in six races during her sophomore season and first in cross country ... Had two top-5 finishes with a win at the Dickinson State Invite (Sept. 24) where she completed the 5k course in 19:56 ... Finished runner-up at the Yellowjacket Invite (Oct. 16) in a time of 18:15, which was her season-best at 5k ... Finished 16th in a time of 23:14 at the 6k GNAC Championships (Nov. 6) ... Ran a 24:36 6k at the NCAA West Regional to lead the team ... Was named GNAC Newcomer of the Year ... Earned GNAC Athlete of the Week after winning the Dickinson State Invite.
