2024: Competed in all seven events for the Yellowjackets, including the GNAC Championships and the NCAA Division II West Region Championships...ran her best five kilometer race of her career at the Yellowjacket/Battlin' Bears Riverfront Open, crossing the line at 22:31.9 and came in 26th place overall...ran the best six kilometer race of her career at the NCAA West Region Championships, crossing the line at 25:04.6 and came in 161st place overall.
2023: Competed in all six events for the Yellowjackets in 2023...had one top-30 finish at the Black Hills State Invitational where she finished with a 4k time of 17:43.8...ran her best 6k at the NCAA West Regionals where she took 146th and finished with a time of 25:17.5.
Skyview High School: Four year varsity letterwinner in cross country and track for the Skyview High School Falcons, who are coached by former MSUB distance runner Mary Owen (’14)…in cross country, qualified for the MHSA Class AA State Cross Country Championships in all four years…her best finish and fastest time at the state meet came as a senior, when she ran her lifetime-best 5K in 20:33.56 and placed 24th…was Skyview’s top finisher of four of the nine regular-season races as a senior…in track, qualified for the MHSA Class AA Track and Field Championships in the 3,200 meters, where she placed 16th…high school personal bests include a 5:39.14 in the 1,600 meters and a 12:13.14 in the 3,200 meters, both of which she ran as a senior in 2022…was a team captain as a senior…named Falcon of the Year…was a member of the National Honor Society.
Coach Woehl on Manning: "It's been fun watching Toree improve over the years. I remember when she came and ran at one of our summer cross country race series when she was in eighth or ninth grade. Coach Mary Owen at Skyview told me to keep an eye on her. She worked very hard over the summer and had her best cross country season this fall."
Manning on choosing MSUB: "I chose MSUB because it has great athletics and a great athletic training program. I also like that it's in town and close to home."
