Coconino High School: McCabe was a four sport athlete in high school, competing in cross country, basketball, softball, and track & field...earned three letters in track & field, three letters in cross country, and two in basketball...was named team captain in cross country and basketball...4x Native American Honor Roll recipient...4x Honor Roll recipient...inducted into the National Native American Honor Society and the National Honor Society...earned the Up and Coming Award for track & field...led her team to a Cross Country State Championship in 2021.
McCabe on choosing MSUB: "I chose MSUB because I fell in love with the team environment, it reminded me of my of my high schools team environment and I didn't want to let that opportunity go. I liked the campus, as well as the beautiful area in Montana. It is very different than what I'm used to, but I think that I'll enjoy it."
