Wasilla High School: Competed in four seasons of cross country and track & field, lettering in each season of competition.... Team MVP as a freshman, would go on to win the coaches award in 2024... two-year team captain for cross country... also played four seasons of basketball, helping lead her team to a 2024 4A State Championship and 2025 runner-up finish.
Russo on choosing MSUB: "I chose MSUB because the team made me feel welcome from the very beginning. The campus and the surrounding area was beautiful, and it instantly felt like a place I could call home. On top of that, the academics were strong, so I knew I’d be getting a great education while competing. Overall, it just felt like the right fit for me."
