At Great Falls HS: Earned team Most Valuable Player honors as a sophomore, junior and senior...named to the Class AA All-State team as a sophomore, junior and senior...also earned all-conference honors all three years at Great Falls High...was named the Great Falls High Defensive Player of the Year...as a senior was the third leading rebounder in Class AA...earned Academic All-State honors...was a member of Upward Bound and AIM...also lettered in track and volleyball...transfered to Great Falls High from Box Elder High School...as a freshman, led Box Elder to the Class C state championship.

Personal: Parents are Lydia and Jim Montes of Great Falls...born in Havre, Montana...has two brothers and two sisters, LeAnn, Jamie, Colton, and Javon...favorite hobbies are drawing and playing sports...volunteers at the Boys’ and Girls’ Club of America...majoring in health promotions.
