Around the Horn: MSUB Softball senior feature story series - Jessica Campbell, RHP

2014 (Junior): Appeared in nine games starting six…pitched 31.2 innings with 10 total strikeouts…posted a 7.92 ERA…earned academic all-conference honors.
 
2013 (Sophomore): Played in seven games as a starting pitcher with 12 overall appearances, pitching a total of 31 innings...allowed a team-low of 11 bases on balls...also allowed only one stolen base in two attempts.

2012 (Freshman): Made seven appearances in freshman campaign, ending the year with a 4.38 earned run average and a 2-1 record...pitched 24 innings and struck out 15 batters for the season...lone complete game came in first collegiate start during the 2012 Desert Stinger partnered with Rip-It when she led the Yellowjackets to a 12-4 win over Chadron State.

Hardin High School: Participated in three sports lettering all four years in softball and volleyball and two years as a cheerleader...was a first-team all-conference selection as a second baseman during her sophomore season and during her junior year earned all-state honors as a pitcher... junior year stats included 148 strikeouts and a batting average of .452…was the team's leader in RBIs, extra base hits, total bases and on-base percentage...in the classroom was an honor roll student and a member of National Honor Society and student council...was a six-time academic all-state selection.
