Meg Harasymczuk

Meg Harasymczuk begins her second season as assistant softball coach for MSUB ahead of the 2023-24 academic year.

Harasymczuk joined the Yellowjacket's coaching staff for the 2023 season. Prior to joining as a coach, Harasymczuk played two seasons for the Yellowjackets from 2011-2012. Harasymczuk was one of the most dangerous hitters in program history. In 2011, Harasymczuk was selected as the GNAC Newcomer of the Year, following a breakout campaign where she hit .353, with 14 home runs, 39 RBIs, and 42 runs. She followed that season up with an even better 2012, hitting .365 with 15 homers and 48 RBIs. In 91 career games, Harasymczuk finished with a .358 batting average and 29 home runs, both of which rank sixth in MSUB history. Her 87 RBIs rank 13 in the program's history. She was a two-time selection to the All-GNAC First Team, and was picked in 2012 Second Team All-Region.

Harasymczuk was honored in 2023 with her selection to the Yellowjacket Hall of Fame and Distinction.

Harasymczuk transferred into MSUB from Southwest Oregon Community College, where earned Louisville Slugger All-america status, and was the co-MVP of the southern region. She was twice named to the NWAACC All-Tournament team.

Harasymczuk is origionally from Spring Creek, Nevada. She currently resides in Billings.
