2011 Outdoor: Ran in four outdoor meets during the season ... Primarily ran the 110 hurdles with a top time of 17.09 at the Montana Open (Apr. 16) ... Had two top-5 finishes.
2011 Indoor: Competed in three indoor meets ... Set a personal best mark of 9.00 seconds in the 60 meter hurdles at the BHSU Winter Classic (Dec. 9) ... Scored four top-5 finishes.
Bozeman Senior HS: Lettered in two seasons of track and field at BSHS ... Placed seventh in state AA championship in the 110 meter hurdles and was a member of the 1600 meter relay team that took fourth ... Earned all-state honors three times during his senior season and was all-conference in the 110 and 300 meter hurdles in his junior season ... Shawn also participated in the 2010 USATF Junior Olympic Championships in the 110 meter hurdles and the 400 meter hurdles, winning both events ... He also competed in the USATF Junior Olympic Region II Championships, winning the 110 and 400 meter hurdles, and placed third in the 100 meter sprint.
