Outdoor Track & Field: Ran in one outdoor track meet before redshirting…helped MSUB’s 4x100-meter relay team take second at the Yellowjackets/Battlin’ Bears Icebreaker Open on March 19.
Indoor Track & Field: Competed in three regular season indoor track meets…ran a collegiate-best 26.83 in the 200 meter dash to place 10th at the Don Holst Open on Jan. 29…placed fifth in the 200 meters and sixth in the 60 meters with a lifetime-best 7.55 at the Bobcat Challenge on Jan. 14.
Othello High School: Ran track and field for three seasons and one season of cross country...graduated Othello High School with the school’s freshman records in the 100 and 200 meters, plus the sophomore record in the 100 meters…personal bests include a 11.56 in the 100 meters, 23.46 in the 200 meters and a 56.31 in the 400 meters…was voted Most Inspirational in 2019 and Rookie of the Year in 2018…was a team captain in track.
Woehl on Rocha: “Jon has a tremendous work ethic and the makings to be a great sprinter. I expect he'll be a contributor in our relays, especially in the 4x100 meters.”
