Nick Collins begins his fourth season as assistant track & field coach for sprinters and jumpers during the 2014-15 academic year.
Collins is a former decathlete who competed for fellow GNAC institution Central Washington University where he earned his bachelor's degree in 2009 and his master's degree in 2011, both in exercise science.
As a junior in 2008, he finished fourth in the GNAC decathlon while also being named an academic all-conference selection that year.
After graduation Collins joined the coaching staff for the Wildcats, overseeing the jumping events, including pole vault, as well as the decathlon and heptathlon. He was also in charge of coordinating the strength training programs for the entire track and field team.
