2018: Honorable mention all-conference…started 18 of 19 matches in first season with MSUB…ranked second on the team among field players with 1,651 minutes played…crucial member of defensive unit as a center back…contributed one goal and one assist for three total points…scored first-career goal on Oct. 20 at Seattle Pacific…had first-career assist on Sept. 7 against Colorado Christian…played a season-high 110 minutes on two occasions…played the full time in 16 of 18 matches, including a streak of 1,390 to finish the season…averaged a team-high 91.7 minutes per game…had a season-high two shots against CCU…earned Rimrock Classic all-tournament honors.

Prior to MSUB: Played for the youth teams of Inter Milan and Fiorentina….most recently was captain of his team at ASDC Cumunale Gonars.
 
Coach Balog on Folla: "Samuele will bring a wealth of experience to the team," Balog said. "That coupled with him playing at a high level in Italy makes us confident that he will be a quality player at the GNAC level. Samuele has a good head on his shoulders, which allows him to have a very good understanding of the game. His leadership abilities will be something we will turn to as soon as the season starts, as well as his physicality and technical ability."
