2017: First-team all-GNAC center back…team captain…started 18 matches and was most consistent defensive player…ranked second on the team with 1,588 minutes played…took six shots and placed four on target…played 17 consecutive complete games, not missing a minute from Sept. 8-Nov. 4 to end the season…played a season-high 103 minutes in MSUB’s 2-1 overtime win over Upper Iowa on Sept. 16…academic all-conference selection.

2016: Second-team all-GNAC as a true freshman…one of two players to start all 18 games…led team with 1,609 minutes played at center back…scored three goals and added two assists for eight points…placed 6 of 12 shots on target for a SOG percentage of 50.0…scored twice in MSUB’s 3-0 win over South Dakota Mines on Sept. 11…played season-high 110 minutes in three straight games…averaged 89.4 minutes per game…earned GNAC Player of the Week for Oct. 17-23.

Prior to MSUB: Member of the Chievo Verona Academy as a youth player, one of the top soccer atmospheres in northern Italy…brings experience and a solid, 5-foot-11 frame as a defender to complement MSUB’s back line.

Coach Balog on Posarelli: "Oliver comes from a soccer background that is second-to-none. We expect him to come in and make an immediate impact on our program, and he is a defender who can play multiple positions across the back line. Oliver's experience, technical ability, and speed will be massive assets for us. Our belief is that he will fit in very well with our group of recruits and returners, and we hope to build the program around him for the next few years."
 
Posarelli on choosing MSUB: "I discovered MSUB this winter in a showcase near Rome. There, assistant coach Guido Riffeser spoke to me about MSUB, and I found it to be a good opportunity for me to prove myself. I like the idea of getting to know a new culture and to do my best on the field."
