Coach Balog on Triplett: "With the graduation of (2015 senior) Sam Butterworth, we lost our starting left back for the past four years. Those shoes won't be easy to fill, but with Chad we are getting a player who has what we are looking for in that position. He is someone who loves to go up and down the flank, and bringing in a left back with that profile was important for us. I also think that with Chad we are getting a student-athlete who is enthusiastic about the prospect of playing for MSUB. Chad made a good impression during his visit, and the boys have taken to him. He watched us play a number of times last season, and the interest he has shown in our program hasn't gone unnoticed. He is a well-rounded young man whom we want to help develop on and off the field."

Triplett on choosing MSUB:
"I chose MSUB because of my experience when I was on my official visit. The team is very passionate about soccer, the community, and school. It was a family feel and I knew it would be a team that would push my abilities to improve. That is the kind of team I would like to play for. I also love to fish so that is a plus going to MSUB."
